Peter brings over 25 years of experience in Canadian trademark and related legal matters, since articling with an Ottawa-area IP boutique. He has expertise in trademark clearance, registration, and enforcement, as well as with related commercial transactions. He has practical experience with trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings, as he worked at the Canadian Intellectual Property Office where he was a member of the Trademarks Opposition Board. Peter also has experience with domain name dispute resolution matters, having acted as a panelist on a number of Canadian (CIRA) domain name dispute resolution cases. Peter received a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in 1989 and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in 1992 from Queen’s University. He was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1994.
