Rachel L. Blumenfeld is a distinguished Partner at Aird & Berlis LLP and an accomplished member of the firm’s Estates & Trusts and Tax Groups, in addition to serving as Co-Chair of the Charity and Not-for-Profit Law Group. With a legal career spanning over two decades since her call to the Ontario Bar in 1998, Rachel offers in-depth expertise in trusts and estates, personal tax planning, and charities and not-for-profit law.

Her comprehensive practice includes advising clients on tax, trusts, estate planning and administration, preparation of wills, powers of attorney, business succession, and insurance planning. Rachel is highly experienced in cross-border planning, guiding clients with U.S. or other foreign connections through complex legal considerations. She also works closely with families with disabled children to ensure their estates are structured for their unique needs.

Rachel regularly counsels charities and donors on planned giving, philanthropic programs, and administration of bequests and other charitable gifts.
