Richard D. Leblanc is a distinguished partner in the national financial services group at Miller Thomson LLP and leads the firm’s franchise and distribution law specialty group. With a proven track record in transactional law, Richard focuses on franchising and distribution, secured financings, and private company mergers and acquisitions, offering comprehensive legal solutions to both established businesses and emerging entrepreneurs.
Richard is an active member of the legal community, participating in the Ontario Bar Association’s business law and franchise law sections, the Canadian Franchise Association’s legal and legislative affairs committee, and similar sections within the Canadian and American Bar Associations. He consistently contributes to legal scholarship, speaking at industry events and authoring prominent works including the Canadian chapter “Franchising” in The International Comparative Legal Guide and “Franchising” in Business Laws of Canada published by Thomson Reuters.
