Rob McLennan is a Partner and Chair of the Insurance group at Alexander Holburn. His practice is primarily insurance-based liability defence in the areas of professional liability and discipline, occupiers’ liability, and product liability. He has been a litigator for over 25 years and has extensive experience appearing before the British Columbia Supreme Court and Court of Appeal, and the Federal Court and Court of Appeal. Rob has completed several mediation courses, including the intensive Mediating the Litigated Case course through the acclaimed Strauss Institute of Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University. Rob has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in Canada for Insurance Law every year since 2016 and by The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory for Litigation – Commercial Insurance since 2020. He is also a member of the Canadian Defence Lawyers and the Canadian Bar Association – Insurance and Civil Litigation Subsection. Rob is on the Diversity and Inclusion committee at Alexander Holburn. He is called to the Bar in British Columbia and the Yukon.
