Robert Anderson, KC practises as a general counsel with a practice representing clients both in court and alternative forums such as arbitration and mediation. He regularly appears on matters across various areas of law, including securities, corporate, commercial, class actions, media, administrative, estate matters, environmental, constitutional, public and white-collar criminal matters. Mr. Anderson has appeared at all levels of court in BC, as well as the Federal Court and Court of Appeal, the Tax Court of Canada and the Supreme Court of Canada. He has served as an Adjunct Professor and instructor at the Allard Law School; editor of Introducing Evidence at Trial: A British Columbia Handbook (Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia); and has presented on a variety of topics at numerous legal conferences. Mr. Anderson has received multiple recognitions throughout his career, and has been repeatedly listed in The Best Lawyers in Canada from 2011–2025 (including twice as “Lawyer of the Year” for Defamation and Media Law), Lexpert Leading Lawyers in Canada from 2014–2024 (including as a Leading Cross-Border Litigation Lawyer), and as a Benchmark Canada Litigation Star from 2012–2024.
