Robin Junger advises clients on a range of environmental, Aboriginal, and administrative/regulatory law matters. His clients include corporations, industry associations, government, and First Nations. He has also served as a deputy minister in the BC government, responsible for various areas including energy, mines, petroleum resources, cleantech, and environmental assessment. He also previously served as chief treaty negotiator for the Province of BC and chairman of the Oil and Gas Commission. Throughout his career, he has advised and trained many statutory decision-makers, independent tribunals, and Officers of the Legislature, and he was integrally involved in the development of some of BC’s most significant environmental and public health legislation. He presently advises clients on a wide range of permitting and compliance issues, as well as First Nation engagement and dispute settlement. He holds law degrees from University of British Columbia and Harvard, has clerked for the British Columbia Court of Appeal, and has taught both public and private international law at the University of Victoria.
