Ron is a partner and head of the Asset Management and Investment Funds Group at Wildeboer Dellelce LLP. He practises in the areas of securities, corporate finance and M&A, primarily in relation to the asset management and venture capital industries. Ron is active in all aspects of traditional, alternative and private equity fund formation from their establishment and financing, the registration of key service providers under relevant legislation to undertaking acquisitions and integrating the operations of different organizations. He also acts for issuers and dealers in offerings of companies involved in the asset management and fintech industries, and in respect of innovative investment products offered to retail, high net worth and institutional investors in Canada. Ron began his career in the Corporate Finance Branch of the OSC (1987–1990) with principal responsibility for mutual fund regulation. Ron has authored numerous articles in his field and has been a frequent participant at industry conferences. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in Canada directory and all editions of The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory in the area of Investment Funds & Asset Management. In 2017–2019 he was a member of the Securities Advisory Committee to the Ontario Securities Commission.
