Sandra E. Dawe

Sandra E. Dawe is the managing partner of Shibley Righton LLP and has filled that role for the past 26 years. Sandra also maintains a civil litigation practice with an emphasis on commercial litigation, and professional negligence defence of accountants. She has appeared as an advocate before trial and appellate courts, and before the Ontario Municipal Board and the Discipline Committee of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Sandra graduated in 1984 from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a BComm (Hon.), majoring in Accounting and Finance. She received an LLB from the University of Toronto in 1987, and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1989. She has spoken at CLE courses for The Advocates’ Society and the Ontario Bar Association, and has been a guest lecturer at civil litigation courses for Osgoode Hall Law School and the University of Windsor Law School.
