Sarah McEachern is a Partner and Regional Manager of Commercial and Construction Disputes at BLG’s Vancouver office. With a robust legal practice focused on commercial arbitration, Sarah guides clients through every stage—from drafting arbitration clauses to securing interim court orders, preparing for arbitration, presenting before tribunals, and enforcing arbitral awards in court. She brings extensive experience in managing both domestic and international disputes.

Sarah has acted as counsel or advisor for proceedings under leading arbitral institutions, including the ICC, ICDR, AAA, SCC, HKIAC, and BCICAC (now VanIAC). Demonstrating her standing in the arbitration community, she was selected as one of twelve arbitrators for the inaugural roster of Arbitration Place’s NextGen Arbitrators.

In recognition of her expertise, Sarah was appointed in 2021 by the Government of British Columbia to a five-year term as a roster member for BC’s Bid Protest Mechanism and Dispute Resolution panels, established under the New West Partnership Trade Agreement and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.
