Shelagh Carnegie is a partner in Gowling WLG’s Toronto office, head of the firm’s national intellectual property group, co-head of its global intellectual property group, and a member of the China management team. She works with colleagues in Canada, China, France, Germany, the UK, Singapore, the UAE, and other locales to strengthen and streamline the firm’s offerings across all areas of IP law, including prosecution, enforcement, litigation, and transactional work. Her practice focuses on all aspects of the trademark prosecution life cycle. She has provided solutions to companies across an array of industries, including alcohol, automotive, cannabis, clothing, food and beverage, consumer products, manufacturing, medical devices, professional services, social media, and tech.
