Stacy is a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee and leads the Blakes Investment Products & Asset Management group. Her legal practice focuses on investment funds, corporate finance, securities regulatory matters and public company transactions. Stacy advises Canadian and international asset management companies on the structuring, regulation and registration of closed-end investment funds, mutual funds, structured notes and flow-through limited partnerships. She also works closely with investment dealers, financial institutions and companies on debt and equity financings, registration and regulatory compliance, private placements and fund formation. Stacy is currently a director of the Stop Community Food Centre, director and Chair of the Governance Committee of Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada and a director of the Ontario Hockey Federation. She is also a member of Women in Capital Markets and the Alternative Investment Management Association.
