Todd is a Partner in the firm’s Insurance Practice Group. He brings over 25 years of experience to his clients and advises on a wide range of insurance defence and coverage matters. He also regularly provides coverage opinions and handles subrogated matters for insurers. In addition, Todd advises on product liability, sports and recreation and professional indemnity claims, as well as on coverage, with particular experience in handling cyber, technology and IP polices. He has significant trial and mediation experience and advises major insurance companies and self-insured clients across North America. He is the Past-President and an executive member of The ARC Group Canada, a network of independent law firms across Canada that focus on insurance and risk management. Todd is on the board of Legalign Global, which is a group of international insurance firms who work together to provide best-in-class domestic and international legal services. He has been selected by his peers for inclusion in various publications including The Best Lawyers in Canada since 2013 for Insurance Law and in Who’s Who Legal: Canada since 2016 in the areas of Insurance and Reinsurance. He frequently writes on topics related to Motor Vehicle and Coverage Claims in BC.
